Horrific injuries of 15-year-old boy brutally attacked by bullies as he walked home from school

These are the horrific injuries suffered by a teenage boy after he was brutally attacked by bullies as he walked home from school.
The 15-year-old was set upon after getting of a bus in Bridgend, Wales, on Wednesday February 8.
The youngster, who has not been named, was rushed to hospital with a suspected broken jaw.
Shocking images, released by the boy’s family, show how he was left covered in blood with two swollen lips and bruises to his face.
Family friend Sarah Davies shared the images on Facebook as she launched a desperate appeal for information.
She said: “Please, if anyone saw anything please tell the police.
“I’m sharing this with his mum’s permission.”
South Wales Police have launched an investigation into the attack.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested and has since been bailed.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “Police in Bridgend are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a teenage boy in North Cornelly to come forward.
“The incident occurred as the 15 year-old victim got off a bus at Woodland Place, at approximately 4pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
“He sustained serious facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
“A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and bailed in connection with the incident.”
